Spirit of the Burn: The Sanctuary’s Tobin & Blue Tincture Review
Tobin [00:00:10] What’s up, cannabis world is your boy with the cannabinoids, Tobin. I’m here with our expert bud tender Blue.
Blue [00:00:16] Like the cheese.
Tobin [00:00:16] That’s right. And we’re coming to you for the Sanctuary Dispensaries in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. Today we’re in an undisclosed location. We’re out of the dispensary environment. And we’re going to be able to really get involved and get a little bit more detail on these products, open the products, and really get into some methods of consumption.
Today we’re going to be going over is EPC tinctures and tincture usage. EPC stands for Experience Premium Cannabis. That’s one of the cannabis producers we collab with here in Las Vegas and at the Sanctuary Dispensaries. And they really do have a great product. You know, actually, one of their mission, one of their mission statement says, you know, to produce premium cannabis extracts that are good for people and for the planet. And so that’s just a it’s a really good statement. I like that.
One thing I noticed first off, about the about the tincture is the packaging. There’s a lot of plastics and a lot of, you know, ends in bags and things like this that we have to deal with in the cannabis industry. But they’re packaging at EPC for these tinctures is biodegradable. So just something that’s noteworthy that I think is really cool.
So when it comes to tinctures, it’s basically a THC oil mixed with MCT oil and CBD isolate in this instance because it’s a 2 to 1 THC to CBD tincture. And I think I’ll let Blue to discuss some of the some of the usages, maybe some of the dosages with the product.
The Cool Thing About Tinctures
Blue [00:01:54] The cool thing about sublingual tinctures, if you prefer not to smoke, it’s just like an edible, but it’s going to be a faster onset. We know what the edible of your body has to metabolize it. First, you’re going to be waiting anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours before you feel anything. With this is going to be anywhere, I would say, from 15 minutes to 30 minutes before you feel anything.
Good thing about it, this one right here in particular is going to be a 2 to 1. So it’s going to be mostly CBD. So it’s very good if if you’re new to cannabis. Me, myself, I’m true to cannabis. So I would take more than the new timer for the most part. As you can see, it’s a very controlled ratio because you could get one drop at a time. Right there. And each job is going to be 5.5 milliliters.
Another really cool thing about the sublingual tinctures, you can really get that minimum effective dosage. By doing that, you can really control how much you’re using, and that could definitely help you save money on how much you’re spending on your cannabis products throughout the year. With edibles, usually their ratio anywhere from five milligrams to ten milligrams, you eat one, you don’t feel anything in 45 minutes, you eat another one that you never really know how much you need to get to what you’re feeling. This is don’t get you. Where you going? One drop at a time.
So luckily, since we’re at an undisclosed location, I’m going to enjoy this today. That’s right. And I’m going to show you guys timed it. The way this is going to work. They’re going to drop the energy tone. You’re going to hold it in your tongue, ideally anywhere from 15 to 20 seconds. Then you just let your your body absorb it that way. All right. Like I said, one drop at a time to slowly get to where you’re trying to go.
A New Way to Enjoy Cannabis Products
Tobin [00:03:50] And you guys know and when when the sanctuary, when we do our reviews in our how to videos, we always like to, you know, bring up bring up off the wall ways or different ways to ingest the product that may not be, you know, the status quo or may not be know. And with the with the tincture, one of the cool things is you can ingested just like an edible.
You can just, you know, added to your coffee in the morning or whatever breakfast you’re making. If you’re making some oatmeal, put a couple of drips in there, put your dosage in there, you know, throw some syrup, mix it up. And it’s just another way to ingest that that people may not necessarily think of at first.
Using Tinctures as Topicals
Blue [00:04:27] Another really cool way to use the tincture. You can easily use it as a topical easily. Just rub it somewhere like on your wrist or something to rub it in your gums instead of just like leaving it underneath your tongue. And that’s another way to consume the cannabis.
We wouldn’t recommend doing that to all tinctures you come across. Definitely see what they’re made out of. If they have some type of fragrance or something like that, you’re going to be rubbing that fragrance in that substance all over your body.
