Figgy Tonic:

This cannatail requires some advanced planning. We recommend making the simple syrup the night before so it has time to cool. The sweetness of the fig and pear balances nicely with the bitterness of the tonic water and the bright astringent notes of the rosemary. Combine with your favorite EPC tincture, we recommend one of the ratio blends or the THC-only formulation for a stronger kick.

Serves 4

  • ¼ cup pear and fig simple syrup (see below)
  • 16 oz tonic water
  • CBD tincture or THC tincture of choice
  • A fresh sprig of rosemary for garnish

Fig and Pear Simple Syrup:

  • 1 pear, peeled and cubed
  • ½ cup dried mission figs, chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 ½  cup sugar

Combine fruit and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer and add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Continue simmering for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and strain the liquid from the fruit. Allow the simple syrup to cool. Store syrup in a glass jar or bottle and refrigerate for future use.

Combine simple syrup with tonic water, add to glasses, and then add the EPC tincture of choice to each individual drink and stir. Finally, garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.

This sweet and spicy fizzy winter cannatailing recipe is an invigorating addition to any menu. Additionally, it’s sure to bring a smile to any guest’s face. The plum and ginger simple syrup is best made the night before so that it has plenty of time to cool. We combine the sweet and sour plum and the spicy notes of ginger with EPC’s G.I. • ¼ cup plum and ginger simple syrup (see below)

  • Fresh plum slices for garnish

Plum and ginger simple syrup:
